I recorded my debut album “long distance” with my Group 2017 in Brooklyn at the renowned Systems Two Studios.
You can listen to insanely talented Julius Rodriguez on piano, Kaisa Mäensivu on bass, Jeroen Truyen on drums. As well as Oskar Stenmark on flugel and Caleb Mason on trombone.
My Big apple tales
You'll hear my own compositions; stories about the Big Apple, loneliness, friendship and long distance relationships. With the jazz standard arrangements of 'How deep is the ocean' and 'It never entered my mind', I went back to the roots of my jazz education and tried to put my own signature on swing.
This music reminds me of the energy of the big city and the idea (illusion :) ? ) of unlimited possibilities.
I hope that this music and its stories can catapult you to my beloved New York.
